The performance of this kayak is enhanced by side walls and rails that encourage you to drop into eddies and waves with good control.
The large planing bottom, with width maintained throughout the length of the kayak, and good rails, makes Storm loose and responsive on a wave.
A well-balanced stern with a little volume behind the seat enables play on current breaks, but also provides that little extra push out of eddies and drops.
The pulled-back stern lifts when planing to provide a longer effective waterline than the kayak's apparent length, especially satisfying when paddling downstream or surfing.
