"In the spring of 2025 on the river left, we cooked up a small batch on the kitchen stove after reading about a surfer who wanted a chemical-free wax for his surfboards, and then made his own beeswax, coconut oil, and pine resin bars in different ratios depending on the water temperature. We decided to start with a cold-water wax, since Sjoa and local rivers have cool water for most of the paddling season. Friends and local Sjoa paddlers received test bars. No one complained, so in the winter darkness of 2026, with the same ingredients and a slight adjustment of the ratio in the recipe, we made a larger batch on the same kitchen stove.

Notes:
Can be used for water temperatures from approximately +1 to +10 Celsius.
Performance will be reduced when using pogies.
Store away from direct sunlight.
Ingredients - Beeswax, coconut oil, and pine resin.
