Thanks to all for competing in the event, it was a fierce battle from start to finish and the finals were no disappointment. Only 4 could make it to the final head to head round, and the guys that made it were, Daniel Klotzner, Bryn Littlefair, Brendon Bayly, and Philip Gibbins. They faught hard, putting in a great effort all the way to the finnish, but like all great battles their can be only one winner and this turned out to be Daniel Klotzner who one the LiquidLogic Remiz 69!
See you next year, on 13th July 2012 for an even bigger and better event!

Yeah we look tired and given the huge clean up at the Sjoa Kayak Camp after the early June floods we ought to be. After all the work we are very happy to say that this year’s Sjoa River Festival will be taking place at it’s traditional home Riksanlegget.
The floods have taken their toll on the site though, we have lost most of the judging huts and the spectator arena, with some of the material littering the Åmot section, most notedly the flag poles. For the remaining judging huts, due to their structure instability, we do not recommend any accommodation. The road to the site has been repaired, however it’s still a single lane dirt road, so please drive slowly into and out of the camp. Furthermore, there have been a number of changes to the local runs, so please pay attention once you arrive into the Sjoa area and get on the rivers. One slice of good news, is that a fool water drainage system has been installed at Riksanlegget, so we should not require the pump truck every day on site during the festival, thank you NPF for funding that solution.
At this year’s festival, as well as all the normal popular offerings, like the Sweet Rumble and Shop till you Drop at Strie Strømmer we have a new competition event for all paddlers the Liquid Logic Games, Technique Clinics from Gene17 and the local crowd will bring us the Jølgen Freestyle event. So we’ve a lot in the programme for the Sjoa River Festival, and we hope to see you there in a few weeks…..

July 12th – 17th 2011
We’re stoked to confirm that the legendary festival will take place at Sjoa Kayak Camp once again.
After quite an interesting flood in Sjoa, with the highest water levels since 1938, we were not sure it would be doable this year. Mainly because of this:

However, it has now been confirmed that the road will be fixed in time, and we’re happy to welcome you to the 15th Sjoa River Festival.
Check out the programme!
